Information technologies in public transport
ITxPT (Information Technology for Public Transport) is a European association that aims at deploying standards for a modular and plug-and-play architecture of on-board IT systems in public transport vehicles. This standardization allows for greater interoperability and scalability between systems; and also allows for lower costs by reducing development costs for vehicles and systems, while improving their ease of operation and performance.
